What is the format of the SonSpirit worship service?
The format of the worship, though less formal, generally follows that of some more traditional worship services (see below). Included is an important time for children. So, bring the whole family!

What is available for children during this service?
Live B.I.G. – Believe In God - Sunday School at 11am! This DVD-based curriculum is all about teaching children to live their belief in God. We describe God to children as Wonderful, Awesome, Majestic, and Magnificent, but until children encounter God for themselves, these are just vocabulary words. Live B.I.G. will lead children to experience God through:
- Coming to know Jesus and the Bible,
- Relationships with others,
- Praise and worship, and
- Learning about God’s creation.
- Live B.I.G. will open avenues of discussion between leaders and children, parents and children, and the broader church family. The Christian Education Team is glad to be able to support this exciting, new, and different approach to Sunday School at Newark United Methodist Church.
