The Newark Empowerment Center provides assistance to the homeless in our area by working with those in need to alleviate current hardships and assist with preparation for the future.

Go-bags (completed and individual items) are needed for this winter.  List of items found here. 

 

The Empowerment Center also is in need of specific items for their adult clients.  Donations of the following would be greatly appreciated:

 

Long underwear (new) sizes XL and 1X to 3X          

Warm men's socks

Gloves -- men's and women's

Disposable razors

Shaving cream

Reading glasses ($1 at dollar stores)

Blankets for Code Purple
