How To Get Here

Liturgical Services

Liturgical services are offered on Sundays in the sanctuary at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00am throughout the year (there is no 11:00 liturgical service in June/July/August).  Holy Communion normally is served on the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions.  The Communion table is open for all to receive Communion.

Our service follows the rich Christian tradition of reading scripture, singing hymns and being enriched by special music for worship, participating in prayer, and hearing the Word of God read and proclaimed.

At NUMC, the weekly liturgical services follow the seasons of the Christian Year:  Advent, Christmas, the Season after Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and the Season after Pentecost.  Scripture readings are taken from the Revised Common Lectionary and the sermon is based on one or more of these biblical readings.

Occasionally, we will celebrate a special series of services on a particular topic or issue.  Recent series have explored the spiritual disciplines and God’s creation.

We look forward to worshiping with you.
