Directions to Newark United Methodist Church

From Route I-95, North: Exit at Route 896 North. Continue straight through the University of Delaware campus (S. College Ave). Turn right on E. Delaware Ave. The church and parking are on the left after the Newark Parking Authority lot.

From Route I-95, South: Exit at Route 273 West. Follow Route 273 into Newark (East Main St.) NUMC is on the left following the Academy St. intersection. To reach the church parking lot, proceed past the church, turn left on S. College Ave., turn left on E. Delaware Ave. The church and parking are on the left after the Newark Parking Authority lot.

From Kirkwood Highway: Turn right on East Main St. in Newark. (At the McDonalds) NUMC is on the left following the Academy St. intersection. To reach the church parking lot, proceed past the church, turn left on S. College Ave., turn left on E. Delaware Ave. The church and parking are on the left after the Newark Parking Authority lot.

From Route 273 East: Enter Newark on West Main St. Turn right onto Elkton Rd. and the bear left onto Delaware Ave. Proceed through the S. College Ave. intersection. The church and parking are on the left after the Newark Parking Authority lot.

From Route 896 South: Enter Newark on New London Rd. Turn right onto Hillside Rd. (You can not go straight at this intersection.) Turn left onto W. Main St. Turn right onto Elkton Rd. and the bear left onto Delaware Ave. Proceed through the S. College Ave. intersection. The church and parking are on the left after the Newark Parking Authority lot.

Parking

Andrew Haines of the City of Newark Parking Authority informed us that as of March 1, the Christina District parking lot adjacent to ours will be PERMIT ONLY. At this time we should consider that lot off limits for use for church functions. Remember that the City of Newark lot just before our lot is free on Sundays for our members.
